QUESTING HEIRS
GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, INC.

OF LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA

Questing Heirs Genealogical Society was founded in 1969 for the purpose of collecting, preserving and publishing data relating to genealogy. We invite you to find out more about our society by selecting one of the links on the left.

Beginning May 17, 2015, our meetings will be held in the Chapel of
Los Altos United Methodist Church
5950 East Willow Street (at Woodruff), Long Beach CA 90815

Starting at 1pm, members will present individual talks about their genealogical travels, triumphs, puzzles, discoveries, brick walls, and problems while we listen, offer help, applaud, and eat ice cream and pizza. Susan Roberge went to Salt Lake City in April for a week, and she will share what she learned on that research excursion. Laurie Angel will talk about a state we seldom discuss and a family we haven’t heard about previously in “The Drexlers of Delaware.” Dave Werts will tell us about British DNA, Shirley Terry is going to tell us about her experiences researching Civil War pension records, and Tina McKillip will speak about her DNA experiences. A member survey will be taken to indicate what topics you want to hear about at our 2016 programs, and an open discussion will end the meeting.

Questing Heirs is a member society
of the California State Genealogical Alliance
and the Federation of Genealogical Societies.
